April Handyman Tip of the Month
Holes in your walls from door handles? They stand out like a sore thumb but the fix can be less then $5.00 and both quick and easy if you can’t afford, or have the know how, to have them patched with drywall.
It’s a simple device you can buy at almost any home improvement/hardware store called a door stop plate that has a peel and stick self-adhesive. Simply peel the paper off of the adhesive tape and stick the plate over the hole in the wall. It serves as a door stop and covers the hole. These come in a couple of colors such as white or off white but can also be painted to match.
